CLS and LMI Win OSD Contract for Operational Contract Support Analysis

RESTON, VA: July 31, 2009: Coker Logistics Solutions, Inc. of Reston, VA is pleased to announce the award of a contract with the Office of the Secretary of Defense to provide analysis and facilitation of Operational Contract Support (OCS) for OSD and Combatant Commanders. The four work year effort will require CLS and partner LMI analysts to gather, organize, analyze multiple ongoing DoD OCS projects and initiatives that relate to OCS planning and execution. Among other duties, CLS analysts shall facilitate the OCS community of interest working group that may participate in plan development at the Combatant Commander or Service Component level.

CLS related work and core competencies include support in developing the Joint Supply Joint Integrating Concept, Logistics Support to COCOMs, Fusion Center, Joint Portfolio Management, Joint Logistics Doctrine, DOD Executive Agency, Adaptive Planning, Focused Logistics War Game (FLOW)/Capabilities-Based Assessment (CBA), LOGWAR, Quadrennial Defense Review (QDR), Joint Capability Area (JCA) Re-baselining, Joint Medical Logistics and Infrastructure Support Joint Capabilities Document (JCD), Operational Architecture, Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) Exercises, Joint Experimental Deployment & Sustainment Concept (JxDS) Experimentation. All of these unique experiences and core competencies are closely related to this OCS effort and will help to ensure the highest quality results for OSD.
