Coker Logistics renews partnership with Northrop-Grumman

(RESTON, VIRGINIA) Coker Logistics Solutions, Inc. (CLS) is pleased to announce it's renewed partnership with Northrop-Grumman in providing on site analytic support to U.S. Joint Forces Command's Joint Warfighting Center (JFWC) located in Suffolk, VA. Among other duties, CLS analysts will assist in training Combatant Command (COCOM) operational planning staffs in mission analysis and course of action development in accordance with the Joint Operations Planning Process (JOPP). This effort will begin on October 1, 2009 and end on May 31, 2011; it represents an expansion for CLS, known for its expertise in joint logistics planning, into the area of joint operations planning.
"Logistics is a crucial part of any operations plan and this expansion is a natural one, " said CLS president, Wayland Coker. "I am very pleased we were chosen to assist and train the planning staffs as they come through the JWFC. The military operations they plan are vital. The lives of our men and women in uniform depend upon their doing their jobs well. We're proud to be part of the effort assisting them."
CLS is currently supporting the Joint Staff J4 and DLA in leading the development of the DOD Joint Supply Joint Integrating Concept (JIC). CLS is well known within the Joint Planning community from its work on the Joint Logistics Distribution JIC, Logistics Support to COCOMs, Defense Logistics Agency's Operations Center and Fusion Center, Operational Contract Support, Joint Capability Portfolio Management, Joint Logistics Doctrine, DoD Executive Agency, Adaptive Planning, the Focused Logistics War Game (FLOW) and Capabilities-Based Assessments.
